How to remove pitch in your blades saw

There are plenty of products that you can buy in order to remove the pitch on your blades saw. But before you buy those brands, why don’t you try the products that you can find in your own home? There are products that you can use to clean the blades. You may use oven cleaner and toilet bowl cleaner. Oven cleaner is a non-abrasive cleanser that is essentially used to eliminate tough and baked pitch. Toilet bowl cleaner, on the other hand, does not only remove the pitch. It also makes your blades as shiny as porcelain. As matter of fact, you can use it as a mirror after you clean it.

Eliminating pitch on your saw blades

Now that you know the products that you can use, it’s now time for you to know how to remove those stubborn pitches. The first thing that you need to do is to soak the blades on a cleanser with one hour. Scrub the tool thoroughly but lightly with a non-abrasive cloth. Ensure that you won’t leave any scratches on the blade or else your saw blade will malfunction and it will be hard for you to remove the pitch.

Repeat the procedure until the blade is already clean. Rinse it with clean water and wipe it with a soft cloth. Rub a thin coat of WD-40 on the blade to prolong its clean look and to give you a better performance.
