What is a power trowel and what is it used for?
A power trowel or cement smoother is a machine that is used to level large concrete surfaces. Normally it is a process that can be carried out on pavements, floors of industrial buildings or other surfaces that need it. These concrete smoothing machines have a base that rests on the concrete and one or more blades that smooth it by rotating at high speed. This technique allows a faster compacting than if it were done manually.
How to use a ride on power trowel

- Start with a low speed and gradually adjust the speed depending on how the machine is smoothing.
- You have to move in a straight line without making sharp turns to avoid leaving unwanted marks on the surface.
- To achieve a uniform surface, it is necessary to keep moving in straight lines. Make sure you go over at least half of the previous passes to ensure an even finish.
- Keep smoothing until you find the right texture.
